A Beauty Pageant helped me to start local modeling

Greetings! My name is Cyndi. Thanks for visiting! I'm excited to share with you my Beauty Pageant Secrets, Local Modeling Secrets, Tips and Techniques on how I got started by using Pageants. I live in the beautiful state of Ohio (yes we get a lot of snow here in the winter)! We do get hot summers here too, but nothing like the southern parts of the country or western parts!

Ok about me....I created this website because many people ask me how I got into modeling being only 5'6" tall.

Yup, I'm a shorty! LOL!! I'm not tall and thin like many models and I don't live in LA or NYC. I'm just an average girl that's been modeling for the past 10+ years and I absolutely love it!!

I don't model full-time, but I do go on assignments on a part-time basis. Over the past few years, I decided to take a break from local modeling and focus on coaching/training girls on how to enter Pageants.

I must say I enjoy coaching as well! Teaching is so rewarding!! It brings me joy when I see my students win and/or achieve their goals.

I've always wanted to model since I was about 17 years old, but at the time my parents weren't having it! So if you're 17 and under and you're reading this then you can probably relate! :-)

When I was in high school my friends and I use to cut up our clothes, and design them with markers, lace, and fabrics and dance around the house or out in the yard modeling!!

When I think back now, that is so funny! Anyhow, I waited until I graduated from high school and entered into my very first Sunburst Beauty Pageant.

The pageant was in our local mall in Ohio and I can remember being so nervous! I was sweating bullets and then when I found out that I had to speak on stage I almost backed out of the whole thing!

Now at this stage in my life, I'm glad I didn't back out! After competing in a few more pageants, I actually went on to attend Barbizon's Modeling School where I learned much more about the modeling business and pageants.

Nervous About Beauty Pageants?

I used to be shy, nervous, scared, have low self-esteem, and much more! However, through Beauty Pageants and Local Modeling I've learned to conquer many of the fears of being on stage and I know that you will too! How do I know, because I'm going to coach you through it all!

Over time my career includes such things as Swimsuit Modeling, Shoe Modeling, Runway Modeling, Hair Shows, Lingerie Modeling, Vogue Modeling, TV Game Show Contestant, Article in my local newspaper, Singing for American Idol Judges, Bridal Shows and Freeze Modeling just to name a few!
